Sehwag will take part in the first One-dayer at the Ferozeshah Kotla in New Delhi. "Sehwag has been declared fit," Said the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Niranjan Shah.

Virender Sehwag took part in the practise session this morning, but did not take part in the entire 3 hour drill. Although he batted for about an hour he didn't look 100%.

Sehwag had injured his back during the last test match in Mumbai. So he is most likely to take part tomorrow to kick off the seven match series starting tomorrow.
