Irfan Pathan praised his left arm partner for his good performaces in the Ranji trophy matches which led to this comeback to the Indian team.

In a chat with the media Pathan said that he had learnt a lot from Zaheer Khan and was happy that he was included in the team.

When the newspersons asked him again if he considers himself to be an allrounder, to that Pathan replied as usual saying "Presently, I am working more seriously on my bowling rather than batting".

This has been his reply all along throughout his career, so it does not come as a suprise.

On asking him about his promotion to Grade-A in the new contracts renewed by the BCCI, "But to be very honest, it is not important as all this comes naturally if you play well", replied Pathan.
