After 39/6 in the first session on Day 1, it has been all pakistan since then. Pakistan ended the day at 173/2 with a lead of 180 runs.
Pakistan raced away with thier openers Imran Farhat and Salman Butt giving a very good start. They lost their first wicket at 109 when the openers had reached half centuries each. Sourav Ganguly was the man who caught Salman Butt plum in front with a good inswinger.
Soon Imran Farhat followed falling prey to Irfan Pathans bouncer and a simple catch taken by Tendulkar at mid-on.
The bowlers looked tired and almost appear to have given up, as Zaheer Khan looked off his mark in rhythm and pace.
The day ended with Yousuf and Younis Khan on 30 and 25 respectively.
