The biggest defeat ever for the Indians a whopping 341 runs, it couldn't get worse than this.
All the batsmen failed to apply themselves barring two whose places seem to be a question in the team. Sourav Ganguly and Yuvraj Singh were the only two who played well the rest were all just playing in their own world.
Expansive shots outside the offstump, a carefree or even a careless attitude for the situation were the things that come to mind when you see a performance like this.
At 74 for 4 with Tendulkar out to Mohammad Asif it looked like India would be bundled out within no time, but Ganguly and Yuvraj played well till tea time and Ganguly looking very solid at the crease, looking determined to prove a point and cement a place in the side.
But any hope of great escapes and miracles disappeared as soon as the players came back after tea and Razzaq getting the better of ganguly. Shortly Faisal Iqbal dropped Singh at square-leg when he was on 77.
Dhoni and Pathan didn't fire this time around and can't be expected to do well all the time. Pathan got out trying to fend away a Razzaq delivery and was caught at gully.
Kumble then tried a big drive but just managed to get an edge and was caught in the slips off kaneria. Kaneria was bowling well and also got Zaheer Khan chopping the ball onto his stumps.
The only bright point of the day was Yuvraj Singh making a good century under pressure but all in vain.
